Glee Club Tours Taiwan

From May 14th to the 24th, the Wabash College Glee Club toured around Taiwan, performing more than a dozen concerts in Taipei, Kaohsiung, Tainan, Xiao Liu Chiu, Chiayi, Taichung, and Cholan.  More than 40 singers made the trip to Eastern Asia, and they were greeted by enthusiastic crowds at every stop. The trip also doubled as a farewell tour for Reed Spencer, Glee Club Director and Assistant Professor of Music. Spencer will leave Wabash this summer for a tenure-track position at his alma mater, Taylor University.  Spencer organized the trip with help from John Stephenson, Chairman of the Kaohsiung East-West Cultural Association and father of new Glee Club President Sam Stephenson ’20.
